Package 1: Standard Corporate Entry
For the first time ever there will be a corporate team challenge as part of the Montane Lakeland 50. The event is for teams of 4 (same gender or mixed) and takes place over the 50 miles course starting from Dalemain and finishing at Coniston.
If you and your workmates are looking for an exceptional challenge then the Montane Lakeland 50 Corporate Challenge is the event for you!
This is a once in a lifetime challenge for determined individuals only and completion is something you will be proud of for ever. The course starts at the stunning Dalemain House, close to the Northern tip of Ullswater and you will travel in light and darkness to reach your final destination at Coniston.
To help you prepare, we'll provide a guided weekend in the Lake District prior to the event for you and your team mates courtesy of www.NorthDoodle.com and a fantastic Montane race jacket to help you deal with the elements. During your training weekend you will complete sections of the course and learn how to use your GPS effectively.
Entry to the Corporate Challenge Package 1, is £500 with a comitment to raise a further £2000 sponsorship between your team members (£500 each).
What does your fee include?
1. Entry to the 50 mile challenge for all team members
2. Montane branded race jacket provided for all team members
3. Full board social and training weekend in the Lake District prior to the event, completing the course with guides over two full days
4. Minimum £1000 donation split evenly between 'Fix the Fells' and 'Special Kids in the UK' charities
What is your commitment?
1. You will need 4 team members in total
2. You should be medically fit
3. You must be an experienced walker with good levels of fitness
4. You must have experience of navigation skills
5. Your team must provide all of the compulsory kit required for the event (see event logistics page)
6. Your team must have own a GPS for navigation
How do I enter?
There are 50 corporate team places available for the 2010 event, to secure your place proceed to online entry and pay your initial £500 race entry, the remainder of the fee will be due prior to the event.

Package 2: Corporate Entry with The Business Benefits Package
The Montane Lakeland 50 & 100 mile Ultra Tour of the Lake District have recognised that, for some corporate teams, there is an opportunity to make the journey to the start line and beyond much more than just a physical challenge.
With that in mind, the Montane L100 have teamed up with 'Doing Big & Scary' to create a package that extends the benefit of being part of the UTLD beyond those people who have the courage and commitment to make it to the start line
Expert Training & Coaching
DBAS have over 30 years experience in designing and delivering high performance programmes for people in business. They are led by record-setting endurance athlete & goal-setting expert Andy Mouncey, who also took part in the first Montane Lakeland 100
DBAS will help you prepare to complete your chosen distance and to use the lessons from your experiences to benefit the people in your business who look to you for your contribution and leadership. They will coach and train you to set personal and collective goals for the challenge which are consistent with the objectives of your business, helping you build a support system so that you involve & bring key people with you during the build up to the event.
The Finish Line Is Only Halfway
Completing the event is a huge achievement, our coaching will ensure that the full impact of what you have done and learned will also be to the benefit of others and to the performance of your business
We will continue to work with you beyond the finish line so that you can complete your journey.
Entry to the Corporate Challenge Package 2, is £7,500 (initial deposit of £500). This includes all training & coaching before, during and after the event, all costs for the two day preparation event, branded clothing, race entry fee and £1000.00 contribution to the two event charities.
What does your fee include?
1. Entry to the 50 or 100 mile event, this will be your decision with guidance from us, and will form a key moment in your preparation
2. 1 x 2 day Preparation Event in the Lake District. This includes two days in a four- star hotel near the start of the 50 mile event which will include practical preparation, strategies to manage your performance in the event, and a route recce
3. Coaching & Training in your business: 2 x single days in your workplace for you, your team and key people in your business network to position your participation for maximum measurable impact when you return.
4. Support beyond the training days via email and telephone

6. DVD documentary record
7. Unique templates and process for personal and team high performance: Goal-setting, goal-getting and goal-repeating for you and your business
