The Lakeland100 Checkpoints

There are 14 checkpoints on the Lakeland 100 route and 6 checkpoints on the Lakeland 50 route. For an overview of the checkpoints and their locations please select 'The Course' from the website header menu.
 
Each checkpoint will supply you with food and drink, more details regarding the 'menu' will be provided to entrants closer to the event date. At each checkpoint you must record your visit using sport-ident technology.
 
Select the appropriate link below to download details of each checkpoint in greater detail (pdf). The Lakeland 100 Checkpoints are numbered 1-14, checkpoints for the Lakeland 50 are numbered 9-14.

As part of our agreement with the Lake District National Park, supporters are not allowed to visit the checkpoints. This rule is in force to prevent unnecessary stress being placed upon local residents and your support is essential to secure future events. There are specific viewing points for event supporters:
  1. Keswick (en route to Blencathra)
  2. Dalemain CP8
  3. Ambleside (en route to and from CP12)
